It's time for another of our much loved comedy nights as The Official Comedy Club returns to The ARK, Newmarket! 🎭

Join your host Mike McClean for a hilarious night of stand-up, presented by The Official Comedy Club, creators of the best live comedy shows in the UK! 🎤😂

Mike McLean has hosted numerous television shows for the BBC, ITV, C4, C5, Sky1 & Nickelodeon, as well as working for many years as a roving reporter on breakfast TV shows, acting in various roles such as "Father Tony" in "Shameless, providing voice overs and becoming a firm family favourite for Christmas pantomimes! Between all this, he also finds time to develop and perform hilarious new stand up sets to keep audiences laughing all night. He originally trained as an actor, at the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester, however, after leaving college Mike gravitated towards stand-up comedy and quickly broke onto the circuit with a comedy magic act. He was soon spotted by a TV producer from Nickelodeon which started his career in TV presenting. Joining Mike will be Sarah Keyworth and Junior Simpson.

Sarah Keyworth is an award-winning stand-up comedian who performs live regularly across the UK. She has performed stand-up on The Now Show (BBC Radio 4) and has featured on the BBC, Comedy Central and has done tour support for incredible acts such as Stewart Francis, Dane Baptiste, Kerry Godliman, Jan Ravens and Abandoman. In 2018 she performed her debut hour, Dark Horse, at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival drawing much critical acclaim, including a Herald Angel Award, a Pleasance Theatre award and a nomination for Best Newcomer in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Described as "utterly engaging" with "razor sharp" humour, Sarah is definitely one not to miss!

With his infectious energy and huge stage presence it is easy to see why Junior Simpson is a circuit favourite. Simpson has a boundless joy and exuberance that has audiences hooked with hilarity. A true observational comic Simpson finds his humour in the everyday and humdrum with anecdotes of his world travels as a comedian adding a personal originality to his set. Mischievous and daring, Junior is a regular headliner at clubs all over the UK and is also in great demand internationally performing as far afield as South Africa and Australia.
